Built on precision
80 years of craftsmanship, quality and collaboration
For Galvano van Wolferen, surface treatment is more than just a process. For 80 years, the company has specialised in galvanising, nickel plating, chrome plating and other surface treatments for industrial companies — from machine builders to the Royal Netherlands Navy and other businesses working with metal.
The cooperation with Car Wash Transmissies began in April 2021. “CWT was looking for a galvanising partner who could deliver the required treatment quickly, while maintaining consistent quality and competitive pricing,” explains Galvano van Wolferen.
A partnership built on quality
Since then, the partnership has developed into a close and efficient cooperation. “Our collaboration works very well. We have direct lines of communication, which allow us to respond quickly when urgent work is needed.”
A consistent flow of projects is another important part of the relationship. “We appreciate that CWT provides a steady flow of work. This allows our employees to know exactly what needs to be done to achieve the right result.”
Precision is particularly important when processing CWT components. Galvano van Wolferen mainly galvanises chain wheels and wear strips, where accurate surface treatment and precise coating thickness are essential.
Good communication and planning are key to keeping the process running smoothly and maintaining short lead times. Galvano also supports CWT’s technical department with coating-thickness measurements and inspections of components treated by other galvanisers.
Asked to describe the partnership in three words, their answer is clear: pleasant, professional and sustainable.
And looking ahead? The message is just as straightforward: as long as CWT continues to process steel sprockets and other components, Galvano van Wolferen is happy to keep supporting them with quality at every level.
